        Pets: Stanley and Dori, two domestic short hair cats

        Why you like working at WAAC: We have a wonderful, cohesive staff who really care for the animals. It's also nice to work with clients that truly want what's best for their pets.
     
        Best WAAC memory: Yet to be determined...
     
        Previous experience:  Graduated from Iowa State University's College of Vet Medicine in 2003. After working at a clinic in Pella, Iowa, I opened my own clinic in a suburb of Des Moines. Life circumstances took me to Kansas City, Missouri for a couple of years, and now I'm here! Veterinary medicine has been a major part of my life for the past 14 years.

        Why you like working at WAAC:Great clients and a great staff, who all love animals!

        Best WAAC memory: When I found out my fellow doctor rides a crotch rocket!  

        Previous experience:Internship at AMC in New York City, staff vet at the ASPCA in New York City,staff vet at the City Vet Center in Dallas,and motherhood my hardest job yet.

    BEST WAAC MEMORY:Getting my first diabetic cat that I adopted from WAAC named Drop Dead Fred.    

    PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: I got my degree in veterinary technology in 2001 from Seneca college in Ontario,Canada. I've been working with vets ever since!

    Why do you like working at WAAC?: I love to learn, and here at West Alabama Animal Clinic I am challenged daily and am always learning new things.

    Best WAAC memory?: Spending time with my co-workers at Polo's restaurant after touring The Canine Health Institute.

    Previous experience?: Veterinary technician since 2000,worked at various clinics including a large animal practice. I love to volunteer and have volunteered with Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Coalition and the Ellen Trout Zoo where I worked as the on vet technician.

    Previous experience:  I was a vet tech for one year in California where I took animal care classes. In Houston I've worked for 7 years as a vet tech and receptionist.

    Pets: A King Charles spaniel named Chuck, a mutt named Mic Tator Jackson, Harry a Rotti/Golden Retreiver mix, Rif a gimpy rat terrier that I adoped from the clinic and cats named Henry, Lucy and Bat Girl who lives on my porch.
     
    Why you like working at WAAC: The people I work with are all wonderful and we all love the animals
     
    Best WAAC memory:  Finding three of my dogs, a cat and my fiance through the clinic
